This eraser comes directly from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and is a reproduction of William (pictured, the original left and the rubber on the right!). The Metropolitan Museum is renowned for his vast collection of artifacts Greeks, Romans and Egyptians, among them are William, a blue ceramic hippo dating back to 1900 BC, which has become the mascot of the museum.
